Are we there yet?

 "Are we there yet?"

    "No."

"What happens if the statues come to life?"

"We give them cookies, they look hungry."

"How do horses make babies?"

    "Just like humans do."

"Do all coffee places have women with green hair?"

    "Yes."

This has become a journey of many unknowns. We don't have a grand plan of exactly what we're doing, but we are working on the power of being flexible (something I'm not great at myself). Sometimes the weather does not cooperate. Sometimes locations are closed because of the day of the week. Sometimes you follow the wrong GPS directions because you aren't paying attention and have to turn around.

It was a slow start on this trip, with many attempts at coffee and screams of "I AM GOING TO POOP MY PANTS!". This was followed 10 minutes later at a rest stop with "I guess it was just a pee.", and me loudly proclaiming, "If you don't take a massive dump right now, we're never leaving the Biden Memorial Rest Stop."

It's been a few days, but we have seen many things. These include the Air and Space Museum, the Wright Brothers Memorial, the wild horses of Corolla, and Big Foot and his little brother Medium Foot. They are currently living in Virginia on the side of the road and frozen from some curse.

We have wiggled our way down the coast from Jersey to DC to Richmond, VA to Kitty Hawk, NC, to Corolla, NC, then back to Kitty Hawk, NC then across to Morganton, NC. We are headed to see the synchronous fireflies tomorrow night which I have been excited about for many months. I don't get a lot of time to sit and write, but I am going to try throughout the trip.

And if you could help me answer some questions, what is Cheerwine? Is it like wine, but without any alcohol and actually just soda? So, Sadwine?

And why are Biscuits and Porn a southern combo?
